Leon W. Fainstadt, is the founder of The AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL RENAISSANCE 2000, AER2000.ORG , program. Education in America requires that everyone support both teachers and children.

AER2000 is a program that will spotlight the areas where Education, Educators and children need support. This effort has resulted in meetings at The White House, The Department of Education in Washington D.C., and has received acknowledgement from past and present occupants of the White House. Support has come as well from Political figures, educators, and regular families and citizens.

The Department of Education wrote a letter supporting this positive effort. You will be reading and hearing more about this effort in the months ahead.

Our future depends on the quality of education received by our children. Our educators must receive salaries that reflects our appreciation and their constant efforts. AER2000 is a program that will address the entire picture.

This program has been in the planning stages for the past 10 years. This year It will be launched. The goal is to raise both awareness and financial support for children and schools throughout the United States. It is non-political and all inclusive.

The issues that teachers have to deal with will be addressed and town hall meetings will be the forum where all interested parties can come together. The American Educational Renaissance 2000 is aiming high and is determined to make a difference in the lives of children, teachers, and our  country's future.
